Construction progress is one of the more practical uses of drone video. A single aerial pass shows the footprint, the framing stage and how the build sits on the site – a record that is genuinely useful to look back on once the building is finished and the structure is hidden behind walls and finishes.
For a congregation funding a new build it is also a way to keep people connected to the project. Members who cannot visit the site regularly can see progress for themselves, and the footage works well in newsletters, on social media and in presentations.
